How does pricing work for a same day man and van delivery?
Our same day van delivery service is priced hourly, with a minimum shift of 4 hours and a maximum of 9 hours. Pricing varies by vehicle size:
- Car (Max load: 90 x 60 x 60 cm) – £27.50/hr (ex. VAT)
- Small Van (Max load: 150 x 120 x 90 cm) – £30.00/hr (ex. VAT)
- Large Van (Max load: 350 x 200 x 160 cm) – £35.00/hr (ex. VAT)
You only pay for the needed time, ensuring an affordable, flexible transport solution.
How do I book multiple or Recurring shift? - For example every Monday and Tuesday?
If you need to arrange several shifts at once, you can speak to your account manager or email [email protected] – Often all we need is an email or a CSV.
Can i still get tracking details and proof of delivery pictures with Shift deliveries?
Not as standard. If you have multiple items and want that extra level of tracking then we’d probably recommend our multi drop service. But it is something we often do for Pharmacy clients who need that extra level of security. Email us [email protected]
Are there any limitations on times, distances or the amount of deliveries a courier can make on a shift?
Minimum time – YES – there’s a minimum of 4 hours per shift.
Maximum mileage – this is down to fair use. A courier can be expected to drive a max of 25-30 miles in a 4hr shift.
Maximum deliveries – expect a courier to deliver between 5-12 drops per hour. But this can vary significantly depending on the location.
